A group of individuals came together to tackle two of the biggest issues when it comes to paddle boards; storage and transport.
Journeying a distance without having your board bugging you is a luxury that most people cannot afford, particularly when you’re not using it at that very moment. This group of individuals called themselves the Artech Modular Paddle Sports with a base in Leominster, Massachusetts.
On April 30, 2019, this group of individuals opened up a Kickstarter funding drive to generate enough financial backing to bring their innovation to life. The project was simply intended to eliminate the two major problems that come with owning a paddle board, and they did this by coming up with a three piece paddle board.
Hard boards performed well but we’re difficult to fit in boats or the elevator to a condo, or to transport to the water. With inflatable boards, the poor performance and hassle of having to inflate and deflate them outweighed any convenience. So we created Easy Eddy from recyclable materials. That means no styrofoam, no fiberglass, and no toxic PVC found in all non-recyclable hard boards and inflatable SUPs.

What Is the Paddle Board Like?
The 3 piece paddle board design is pretty fascinating and definitely a first.
The Easy Eddy SUP, as it is known, is being designed to be 100% ecological friendly with every single board manufactured using completely recyclable materials.
